Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the film. When she was students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her career between Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director of popular television programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
