Lita Rossana Ford, also called Lita Ford is an American guitar player and singer who was born in Britain. She played lead guitar as a member of The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all females in the late 1970s. Their punk rock music and rebellious lyrics got them noticed by the rock community. Although the band was not success in The United States, it gained enormous popularity overseas. Ford started a metal solo career after the band ended in 1979. Her debut album as a solo artist was 'Dancin' on the Edge, followed by her record Out for Blood. Ford went missing from the music scene for a few years following the albums did not be a huge success. In 1988, Ford returned to the world of music by releasing a dazzling album titled 'Lita. the single 'Kiss me Deadly' as well as the ballad 'Close My Eyes Forever' were both major hit songs.
