Lita Rossana Ford (also called Lita Ford is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was born in Britain. She was the lead guitarist in The Runaways, a hard-rock group comprised of girls in late 1970s. The band's punk-rock style and rebellious lyrics got them recognized by the rock world. The group wasn't popular in their home country of the United States, it gained immense popularity in the world. Ford launched a solo heavy-metal career following the split from her band in 1979. After receiving voice lessons, Ford released her debut single album "Out for Blood" and then "Dancin at the Edge". Ford vanished for some years from the music scene following the albums' failure to receive much attention. Her smashing hit, 'Lita was released in 1989. Kiss Me Deadly (single) and Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were two of her most popular hit songs. The popularity of her was temporary, and she was gone for a few years. Then she returned when she released 'Black' in 1995. Then she released 'Wicked wonderland' about 15 years later. Her most recent album 'Time Capsule was launched in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
